about me

Hello, my name is Lluvia Martínez.
I am an integral, empathetic, and creative leader who applies my organizational skills, effective communication, and critical thinking to every project to achieve my team's objectives

  • Age: 17 years old
  • Nationality: Honduran
  • Currently: Senior at IST
  • Address: Tegucigalpa, M.D.C.
My objective

I am a person committed to my academic and personal growth, and throughout my journey, I have developed fundamental skills that will allow me to contribute significantly to the university community.

I want to pursue a double degree in International Relations and Law at an International University to learn how countries interact on a global level, how international politics works, and the norms that regulate people's behavior, while also developing my ability to collaborate effectively in diverse cultural contexts.

In the long term, I aspire to create an international organization dedicated to improving the well-being of the most vulnerable populations in Honduras and other developing nations to address the consequences of forced migration, political polarization, and impunity.

skills
Integrity

In my experience, this has translated into upholding my principles and values through various challenges, whether studying in a team, taking on responsibilities in projects, or facing difficult decisions. I aspire to carry this quality with me in my university career because I know that integrity not only strengthens character but also creates an environment of trust and mutual respect—essential elements for learning and growth.

Decision-Making

This skill has not only allowed me to face challenges with confidence but also to adapt swiftly to changing situations. I understand that in a university environment, well-founded decision-making is crucial to making the most of both academic and extracurricular opportunities. I am committed to continually honing this skill to create a positive impact on my future and within the university community.

Organization

Organization has been one of the most valuable skills in my academic and personal journey. Learning to manage my time, prioritize tasks, and stay focused on my goals has enabled me to balance various responsibilities and achieve my objectives effectively.

Teamwork

I have learned that a strong team is built not only on individual skills but on how these skills complement each other to achieve a common goal. In a university setting, teamwork is essential to foster innovation, solve problems effectively, and build an inclusive and supportive community.
